Boise has grown allot since I've been gone. New buildings, businesses and restaurants everywhere. This fact play's well for one of my favorite soups of all time. Vietnamese Pho.

Join me as I search Boise for the best bowl of Pho. I'll be critiquing each restaurant on three things. The Vibe of the restaurant, The Pho itself and the price of the bowl.

My first stop Pho Le off of Broadway Ave.

The Vibe

Pho Le was not around when I left Boise and seems to have taken the spot Talk Of The Town and a Hawaiian restaurant. The renovations looked great. The restaurant was bright and open, very modern feel. Blue LED edged the light's and ceilings. The place felt clean and  trendy.

The Pho

Overall it was excellent! I tried the Chicken Pho. The taste was superb. The broth had a very organic, natural taste. The chicken seemed to be slow cooked full meaty chunks. If course my bowl came with a hefty serving of Thai Basil.

The Price

This was unfortunately the not so pleasant part of my visit.  The bowl was HUGE, and so was the price. All together my meal cost me upwards of $22. Pretty expensive for a quick lunch. Though to be fair they did have different size and price options.

Final Thoughts:

Overall I would recommend Pho Lee! It felt very modern and the bowl of Pho was excellent.

Overall score 3.9 out of 5 bowls of noodles.
