I have never seen so many fans be so upset, so confused, and so happy, all in a span of one night. This week, that was certainly the case surrounding Thursday nights' concert at the Knitting Factory in downtown Boise.

It was one of summers most anticipated hip-hop shows for the Treasure Valley (and coincidentally on the same night as another-- Wiz Khalifa and French Montana). Playboi Carti was going to preform at the Knit and it was selling FAST. It was one of those shows that just had all sorts of buzz around it-- especially as the Knitting Factory released tickets last minute to the formerly sold out performance.

My phone started to blow up around 9:30 p.m. or so as people and friends that I knew at the show said "Playboi Carti didn't even show up"-- I could only imagine the crowd. Friends I knew at the show told me openers were getting booed as news became known that the headlining rapper missed his flight to Boise. Once the Knitting Factory was cleared out-- an alert went out via their social media accounts stating that yes, he caught a later flight and would still be preforming...not landing in Boise until 11:48 p.m.

A start this late meant no minors could be at the show and refunds for those who bought tickets through the proper channels. The concert did however, go on, and videos were everywhere of the show by the end of the night. Some of the reactions on social included:
