Popular Idaho Coffee Chain Named ‘Worst in America’

Oh coffee, how we love thee. It just feels like such a 'Pacific Northwest Thing' to do--grab some coffee and start the day.

Recent survey results have shown that while we do love our coffee here in Idaho and beyond--we're also home to some of the worst and perhaps we shouldn't be subjecting ourselves to it!

We're lucky to have some really amazing coffee shops here in Idaho--and many of them are locally owned! Let's take a look at some of the WORST cups of joe around!

Have you ever had a cup of coffee at any of these places?

To be honest, the likes of Burger King and Taco Bell would have never crossed our mind for a cup of coffee, so, to see them on this list was not a shock.

Starbucks? Maybe we should discuss this one.

Look, it's a national chain with a drive-thru that cranks out a LARGE volume of coffee each day--but the lines of cars outside of these coffee locations each morning tell us that maybe they aren't so bad after all. Not to mention their recent changes in an attempt to get back to their 'coffee shop roots' include a bit more personality, too. 

As for McDonald's -- we'll stick with the egg McMuffins and orange juice.

So--this week, when you're headed to work and need that caffeine, maybe try out a local spot instead?
