Reports: Katy Perry And John Mayer Break-Up

It seems like just yesterday (literally) people were speculating that John Mayer had finally popped the question to Katy Perry during their Valentine's Day outing to Bootsy Bellows in West Hollywood. But this morning the story is very different...

On Saturday, February 15th E! Online broke down the entire date.  Private booth, snapping photos of each other, dancing together all night and leaving together at 2 AM.  Their sources said that Katy and John looked totally in love...and Katy even had the rock in question on that finger.

See why I was so shocked when I rolled over at 1:38 AM and saw the E! alert that the two of them had broken up? According to the new E! article, Katy broke up with John after returning to her trip to London and Milan where she walked in a fashion show.  John was absent from her side during that trip and spent most of the time Katy was gone tweeting to fans about a recording session.  Right now there's no specific for reason for why Katy called it quits.

I'm totally bummed out.  Yes, John has a history of being a complete and total d-bag with women.  Taylor Swift.  Jessica Simpson.  Jennifer Aniston...the list goes on, but I really thought Katy was the one that had changed him! In pictures of him and these other ladies he just didn't look in love with them the way he did Katy.  "Who You Love" isn't gonna be the same for me now that they've broken up.  Sad day.
