Should Idaho Music Fans Be Ejected From A Venue For Booing?
Last week, at a tour stop at the Ford Idaho Center, fans took it upon themselves to boo out loud when Chris Stapleton introduced his keyboard player, who happened to be from California.
It really happened, and a lot of fans are not happy with some Idahoans' behavior at the concert. We can't blame them.

So, what can be done to prevent a scene like this in the future? Think about it. If you go to a comedy show, and continually interrupt the performer, you're absolutely going to be tossed out. Run on to the field at a football game? Tossed out.
You can probably see where we're going with this.
Now, if you're at a concert and someone says something blatantly offensive on the mic, or if they band comes out too drunk to perform, or if the artist shows up on stage hours late, we can absolutely understand the crowd growing unruly and booing.
However, when it's a classy performer (Chris Stapleton) putting on a hell of a show, what right does the audience have to boo the artist they paid to see simply because one member of the band is from another state? If fans rudely interrupt a show like that, does the artist and/or venue have the right to throw them out for ruining other fans' experience?
Either way, we hope moving forward, other artists are made to feel welcome when they perform in Idaho. We're lucky to get some of these major acts coming our way, and we shouldn't blow it by being rude.
