Shut Off Your iPhone Message Previews

This isn't a life hack.  You may already know how to do it.  I've been meaning to figure it out since I got my new iPhone in July and finally got around to Googling it.  In case you've been wondering how to keep your nosy friends and co-workers from seeing your texts, here's how it's done!

Click settings on your home screen.

Go to your notification center

Now click your messages.

Slide the button for previews so that it's grey and off.

Voila! Now no one can snoop on your texts on your home screen!
