Spooky season is most definitely upon us and here in the Treasure Valley, families, friend groups, and local businesses are all getting very excited for the celebration! If you go just about anywhere these days, you're bound to see some spooky things. Walk into a convenience store and you'll see tons of halloween candy. Visit a grocery store and pumpkins will line the front of the building. Drive past any closed business and you'll find a temporary Spirit Halloween pop-up! It is that time!

What is there to do in Boise around the spooky holiday?

With "real" halloween falling on a Tuesday this year, there are going to be more than enough options to celebrate, dress up, and get into the spook.

Taking over downtown Boise on Saturday night? A massive "block party" that will stretch from one corner in downtown Boise to another. The party includes the largest downtown Boise nightclubs that offer a vibe for everyone: Dirty Little Roddy's, Amsterdam Lounge, Strange Love, and Karma!

Each bar will have a specific theme--but buying your block party passes early is definitely the move as just $25 will get you into all four bars for the night. We should note--tickets at the door are $30, but what's really going to suck is the line...save yourself the wait in that line on a cold October night.

Even more of a bonus? Save your wristband after the party and get a discounted 'Recovery Brunch' the next morning at downtown Boise's 'House of Western'

Here's a look back at some of the best halloween costumes that were spotted in downtown Boise last year during the very spooky weekend!
