Surreal Images Capture Eerie Boise Clouds, Lightning Storm [Photos]

There's just something random about weather in the Treasure Valley and it's part of what makes living here so interesting. Never a dull moment as some days, no matter the "season"--we'll experience all four seasons in a 24-hour window.

While nothing too crazy took place on the evening of Tuesday, May 28th, the first of what felt like a real 'summer storm' rolled through town with wind, lightning, and some loud cracking thunder.

We asked you on Facebook to share your view of the storm--and as always, the Boise internet delivered!

Warnings of the storm came early in the day on Tuesday and at one point, weather officials issued a supplemental warning to residents where wind was the heaviest, suggesting that they 'take cover'.

Power outages across the Treasure Valley left some without power but it was restored without too much of a wait.

As temperatures continue to fluctuate and as triple digit days are on the horizon, expect to see more storms in the Treasure Valley--tis the season!
