Terrifying Attempted Boise Home Invasion Caught on Camera

A search is and has been underway in Boise as police seek answers for what might be one of the creepiest criminal incidents caught on camera that we can remember. These days, there are cameras everywhere--whether something happens in a business, a parking lot, or a home, it seems that there's a camera installed or camera installed just close enough to scoop some sort of evidence.

This is the case in an attempted home invasion that took place right here in Boise. Photos and video of the attempted break-in near Cloverdale & Ustick (on West Granger Street) have local police looking for answers--and the suspects.

The following statement is posted up online from local police and Crime Stoppers:

The victim stated he heard someone knock on the front door, shortly followed by a crash. Going to the back door, the victim observed someone attempting to break into the residence. Upon seeing the victim, the person ran from the backyard along with another male. The victim was able to use their cell phone to record the male attempting to break in.

We have no idea how we would react to something like this happening at our own homes--but we're shocked that this individual pulled out their phone and began recording what could have been a life or death situation.

The crime originally happened last April however as of November 6th, 2023, we have confirmed with Boise Police that the case is still open for investigation.
