“The Rock” Tests Positive For COVID-19
For a long time it seemed like the Pandemic and COVID-19 was not completely real, not because I didn't believe it existed but because I didn't actually know anyone who had been affected by it. All of a sudden it got real when my sister tested positive, then a client I spent time with at station event got it. You fast forward 4 months and I personally know three people who have passed away due to the rona.
A common theme is that only the strong survive and that young, healthy people are not affected, Yesterday we got a harsh reminder that no matter how healthy, strong or young you are, you can still get COVID-19. Case and point "The Rock" , his wife and two young daughters have all tested positive.
"I wanted to give you guys a little helpful update on things that have been going on on my end for the past two-and-a-half to three weeks now. So the update is this: my wife Lauren as well as my two baby girls and myself, we have all tested positive for COVID-19," shared on Instagram.
Dwayne continued for over 11 minutes on his IG video saying:
"I wish it was only me who tested positive, but it wasn't, it was my entire family, so this one was a real kick in the gut. But I am happy to tell you guys that we as a family are good. We're on the other end of it, we're on the other side. We're no longer contagious, and we are — thank God — we are healthy."
According to Johnson his family got the virus from family friends. Moral if the story in my mind is that it can happen to any and all of us. Be kind to one another.
