Idaho Ranked the 4th Happiest State in America

Idahoans are some of the kindest people out there. One of the biggest draws to our state is the amazing people who live here. And it would make a lot of sense for them to be so kind if they were really happy. Turns out... they probably are!

Idaho Is Officially One of the Happiest States in America

Idaho is filled with fun people, places, and things to do. When you have such a good state with such a good environment it's almost genuinely hard to be sad. That's why we're not shocked that Idaho is one of the happiest states in the entire country.

How Did Idaho Become the 4th Happiest State?

Out of every state in the country Idaho is currently the 4th happiest state of 2026. This does not surprise us one bit but if your feeling skeptical here's what what was considered in the ranking:

• 20^th – % of Depressed Adults

• 9^th – Adequate-Sleep Rate

• 10^th – % of Civilian Labor Force Unemployed 15 Weeks or Longer

• 8^th – Number of Work Hours

• 13^th – Volunteer Rate

• 10^th – Separation & Divorce Rate

• 1^st – Income Growth

• 18^th – Safety

Not bad at all for Idaho and it's so cool to see such a positive thing being said about our state. A lot of new ranking recently have been putting Idaho down so this is a really awesome change of pace!

Plus a lot of things can be said about Idaho but being considered a happy state is really cool. If you consider yourself a happy person it just might be because of this awesome state.
