The Seahawks Lost Now What? Do This and Be Happy

Well, that sucks! All of my teams are done. What am I supposed to do now? Do you even know how many chances I get being a sports fan? Some won't understand and will highly disagree but that's only because I'm sure their team lost too.

We can talk about baseball, basketball, football or whatever else you like but I've got chances. All my chances have dried up with one outside look. Let me explain and give you some tips on dealing with this drama.

I grew up in Houston, Texas and joined the United States Navy when I was 20. I was stationed in Bremerton which is a ferry ride from Seattle. I lived in Seatle for a greater portion of the time. Do you see where I'm going?

I claim all the Texas teams including the Houston Texans (blew it against the Kansas City Chiefs) Seattle Seahawks (blew that against the Green Bay Packers but hey - Aaron Rogers was due) The Dallas Cowboys (well, for the obvious reasons I can like both Texas teams duh) and reach out towards the Denver Broncos because we live here.

So, where has that gotten me? Well, two Superbowls (Broncos/Seahawks) and I'm a Lebron James fan so I can show my fandom wherever he goes. I have a few NBA championships with the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat.

Oh, I'm a Boise State Bronco fan and that's done pretty well for me including I'm a Coach Peterson fan so I can claim the Washington Huskies even though they beat our Broncos (I was taking BSU for sure)

Yes, I'm a Houstonian so I also get the Houston Astros on my list and we blew that World Series this year. So, you could say it's been a bit of a sports heartbreak in 2019-2020 so far. I'm going all-in on Lebron James to grab a ring with the Lakers late Summer.

So, what now? Well, I texted a friend and told him this.

Sports is the only thing that hurts worse than getting your heart broken by a woman. Why is that? Man, that sucks.

Sports is exactly that and I can't explain it to someone who doesn't watch it. There is something that just drives our hearts beyond explanation and that's just the way it is. Maybe we all wish we could be on that field or court. We're passionate about sports like we are about superheroes.

We have 4 teams left, 2 games and 1 Superbowl event. I'm not excited about the halftime show with Jennifer Lopez or Shakira so it's all about the games. My suggestion is to take a team and have fun with it. I would love to take the Tennessee Titans because their the underdog story and they were originally the Houston Oilers before they got sold. I want Aaron Rogers to get another ring but I love that Mahomes kid in KC.

The Superbowl will be the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers. We've got a ton of Californians in the Treasure Valley so that might be the popular favorite. I'm going with Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City to win it all because that dude is ridiculous.
