WalletHub's 2022 report indicates Boise is healthier than 80% of American cities. According to their survey released this spring, Boise outperforms metropolitan areas such as:

So congratulations, Boise! We're doing better than the majority of U.S. cities evaluated by the health survey, and that's awesome! To be honest, we're a bit surprised we didn't perform even better for a city that lives its life in the great outdoors.
Our Boise is a town on the go-go-go. We're hiking the foothills at dawn, floating the Boise River by noon, then clocking 5,000 steps on our Fitbits while canvasing the BoDo area by the late afternoon into the evening. Spend a day down town in Boise, Eagle, or Meridian and you'll swear you've moved to Hot-Moms-Town, USA. From CrossFit to Orange Theory, and barre training to the Boise Betties—a famous local women's running club—Boise's moms, and our women in general, are in pretty fantastic shape.
Our men are pretty buff, too, but you get the point.
And our kids? They're just as active as local adults are, if not more. Boise is a haven of amazing skate parks, playgrounds, climbing gyms, youth sports camps, Western sports, and youth athletic clubs. Boise's Greenbelt, a 25-mile beltway connecting one Treasure Valley city to another, exists for the sole purpose of uniting our communities through free fitness, fun, and recreational opportunities for all ages. It's a community staple and stronghold locals can't get enough of.
All the same, let's celebrate landing in the top 20% of healthiest cities in America, Boise! After all, judging by the size of our bootylicious glutes, we've clearly worked our butts off to get here. Cheers to being and staying healthy and happy, friends!
