This Coach, Not Kellen, Is Boise’s Top Pick For Football Program

It's been a brutal season for Boise State football--the team is at risk of missing a bowl game and now, they don't have a coach. For the first time, Boise State has blown out their coach before the season is over. Andy Avalos is now in the rearview mirror as the program looks to build out a new leadership team and re-build what once was: Boise State Football.

It's going to be a process that won't be solved overnight. You only get to do this once--the Broncos need to make the right decision.

You would think that fans would be calling for Kellen Moore--but another name is actually being passed around the rumor mill far more frequently...

Who do you think Boise State fans are demanding coach the Broncos? Here's a look at the rumors...and the one name we're seeing more than anyone else:

Yep--Bryan Harsin is suddenly a Boise favorite. 

Let's be honest, there was no bad blood between Boise State, Boise, and Bryan Harsin. He left for a job way too big to ever turn down.  Once he left, fans seemed to have strong feelings about the guy--opinions, of course, they would never have the nerve to share while he was here.

Funny how this works: now, fans want him back.

Fans of course love that Bryan is already right here in Boise. He has only been out of the coaching world for about a year and certainly built strong relationships with influential people and recruits during his time in the SEC, no matter how that went (or ended).

Could Bryan Harsin be in the running? It's possible. Many think that it's time to dip outside of what's familiar here in Boise and only time will tell where Jeramiah Dickey takes the search.
