The Era's Tour: It's the tour trend of the year that's for sure! It seems as though this was the start of a trend for artists nationally to dedicate their tour to all of their albums, not just their most recent album. This has proven very successful for pop stars and other performers alike and the fans are loving it! From Ed Sheran to The 1975 popular artists from across the world have dipped their toes into this style of performing.

One popular band that successfully pulled off this style of touring is Australian band, 5 Seconds of Summer. Touring across America [sadly leaving Idaho out] they had fans selling out huge venues for them from Madison Square Garden in New York City to The Forum in Los Angeles.

5 Seconds of Summer, also known as 5SOS, listened to the pleas of their fans to play music from their older albums and successfully put together a setlist that every fan was excited about.

Their tour “The 5SOS Show” had 5SOS fans seeing a whole new side of their skills in live performing. They had fluid song transitions and played music that fans had been waiting to hear live again for years. One unique thing they did as well was use an inflatable dice and let the luck of the crowd determine what song off of the dice would be played for the night. 5SOS also took the time to film funny and catchy skits that played throughout different moments of the show which was something that fans hadn’t seen from them before either.

As amazing as this show was many fans are nervous this will be the last time they see the band for a little bit as they’ve been known to take breaks from touring before, however, there is a whole new reason this band might take a little break from shows. The lead guitarist, Michael Clifford, and his wife Crystal Leigh are having a baby girl! We’re so excited for them and hope nothing but the best for them and their family. Congratulations!
