Unpaid TSA Workers Are Playing Travis Scott on Loudspeaker at JFK
You've probably heard that the government has been shutdown since December 22nd. 800,000+ federal workers are going to work daily without knowing when the shutdown will end and when they'll be paid. TSA workers are among that number, and some of them are finding a way to enjoy their job even without the paycheck.
Travelers going through JFK Airport in New York City took to social media to say what they're hearing, including the unedited version of Travis Scott and Drake's hit Sicko Mode.
A spokesperson for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey told Business Insider that TSA and airline employees have control over the playlist and certain locations.
I flew both Saturday and last night and can confirm that the only Travis Scott, Drake and Kanye I heard while going through security at BOI and SEA was coming through my own headphones. But hearing them over the loud speakers would have made my day.
