Walmart Warns Of Higher Prices In Idaho Due To Tariffs
It's becoming common practice for most retailers to raise their prices, here in the year of our Lord 2025.
- Coffee? More expensive
- Vehicles? More expensive
- Going out to eat? More expensive
But surely there's no way one of our favorite retail giants would suddenly raise their prices too, right?
Yeah. Wrong. So, so wrong.
Walmart? Tariffs? What's happening? I can barely afford stuff now!
Yeah, we know. And, that's honestly too bad so sad, because Walmart's prices on a lot of goods are about to jump, and it's all due to new tariffs:
Executives at the $750 billion company told industry analysts Thursday that they’re doing everything in their power to absorb the higher costs from tariffs ordered by President Donald Trump.
Given the magnitude of the duties, however, the highest since the 1930s, higher prices are unavoidable, and they will hurt Walmart customers already buffeted by inflation over the past three years.
That's correct. Because of the increase in prices on imported goods due to tariffs, you will very much most likely be paying more for many of the items in your shopping cart next time you hit up an Idaho Walmart.
Ugh, the next thing you know, the freaking Dollar Store is going to start charging more than a dollar for their goods. Oh. They're already doing that?
We're so cooked.

Unfortunately, Idaho isn't the only state getting impacted hard by these new tariffs as of late. States all across the country are about to be feeling the pain, and strain, on their wallets.
