What’s The Punishment For Being Nude In Public In Idaho?

Summer is here in Boise, the temperatures are rising, and wearing a lot of clothes simply won't do.

Notice we didn't say "Hey, now's the time to be naked in public." We didn't say that because it'll get you in so much trouble, you see.

So, what is the actual penalty for being caught nude in public in Idaho?

First of all, if you really feel an urge to walk around nude in a public space for others to see, nothing we're about to say is going to help you. Don't do that. Nude beach? Sure. Downtown during happy hour? Not so much.

Anyways.

Let's do a hypothetical here. Let's say you did end up walking around Boise, completely naked, right in the middle of a crowd. What would happen?

The first time you're caught breaking Idaho's indecent exposure law, you'll be hit with a misdemeanor. Doing it again and getting caught could result is a felony, and those are no fun for anybody.

So, would we advice you, our loyal reader, strip down and show everyone your birthday suit? In your house? Yes, you should absolutely do that. Outside? No. Not so much.
