‘You Can’t Breathe In This Town': Iconic Comic Sells Out Boise Venue
Evenings in the Treasure Valley are usually quite calm. We're far from a party town and barring any large festival going on, if you stroll through most parts of downtown Boise on a 'school night', you won't find much commotion.
That wasn't the case on Thursday night on the campus of Boise State University where the hustle and bustle was far from calm--and it had nothing to do with a football game.
A sold out crowd packed in to the Morrison Center, where one iconic comedian took stage and just about everyone was talking about it.
The star, Jerry Seinfeld, has long been known in the comedy world as "one of the greats" and aside from 'Seinfeld', he has been a participant in tons of different projects, such as 'The Bee Movie', 'Unfrosted', and even his own series called 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee', in which Jerry interviews other famous comedians and even the President of the United States!
"You can't breathe in this town!", Jerry exclaimed as he ran onto the stage.
The first words out of his mouth were nothing shy of relevant as Thursday was one of the worst in regards to air quality all week long.
Seinfeld's routine touched on all of the things in life that are "annoying' and he was sure to explain that all things in life are annoying. Even your friends and spouses.
The crowd (and the town) went absolutely crazy when he and his opener gave a shoutout to Boise for being a great and hospitable crowd--mentioning that they were staying at the Inn at 500! How cool!
