You Have to Visit This Boise Landmark on Friday the 13th
While there's no Camp Crystal Lake to visit in Boise, this spot is a must-see on the spookiest of dates.
The Old Idaho Penitentiary holds its "Friday The 13th - Tales and Tours" event this Friday starting at noon, with the last admission happening at 8pm.
You can expect to hear about executions, escapes, and other spooky scary stuff while enjoying complimentary hot chocolate. The tour will be partly outside by fire, so be sure to bundle up.
According to OIP staff, some of the stories can be seriously creepy, so parental discretion is advised.
Tickets are $6 at the door, and space is very limited.
