Despite driving past it nearly every day-- I haven't been to Zoo Boise in years! In fact, it has probably been about 15 years. If you're in the same boat as me or maybe you've got kids that just love the zoo-- soon there will be an all new addition you'll have to check out.

Zoo Boise has built a relationship with Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique over the years, assisting them with fund for research and more. Because of this relationship, Zoo Boise has decided to open up a new exhibit that highlights all of the things the partnership entails.

Along with this new exhibit which in some aspects, will replicate Gorongosa National Park, will come some new species of animals to Zoo Boise. These will include African Hunting Dogs, African Otter species, and even some baboons!

This is expected to open by by next summer.
