$1.4 Billion in Jackpots Available Going Into Weekend

When I was a kid, the Idaho Lottery was the most exciting thing ever!  All of my grandparents and parents were really into it and so when it came time to watch the Powerball drop, I was all in. I was also a weird kid...so there's that. There was just something about the thrill of watching those numbers drop and knowing there was at least a CHANCE that we would win.  Toss me some scratch tickets and I was in heaven!

Well, today, I plan on buying some Mega Millions tickets and it has been a long time since I have done so. Apparently I'm just feeling lucky? I'll let you know. Or actually, if you never hear from me again, you'll know I was right.

Tonight, Friday January 15th, there is a large jackpot total of $750 Million on the line. Tomorrow, Saturday January 16th, there is $640 million up for grabs on the Powerball jackpot. What's a few dollars to toss your name into that hat for THAT?

As much fun as this may sound and as much as Idaho Public Schools may benefit from the Powerball purchases, officials are still warning folks to be cautious and play wise. Don't blow all of your money, as tempting as it may be, on lottery tickets.
