For weeks, the lines to drive up to Boise's first In-N-Out location were hours long--literally. As exciting as it was to see the franchise expand to Idaho for the first time, however, where are Boise residents really enjoying a burger?

Open since 1954, one very popular burger joint here in Boise has stood the test of time and is arguably one of our most iconic and trusted stops for a great burger and shake.

In-N-Out and every other national chain really has nothing on it.

We're ready to have yet another option and location to grab Big Bun from!

We first reported in January of 2023 that Big Bun was teasing a second location could be on the way in the Treasure Valley. When this news broke, social media groups here locally BLEW UP with loud and excited response.

Fast forward over a year later and we now know the scoop on Big Bun's new location.

National chain, 'Carl's Jr.', has dialed back a lot of Treasure Valley locations in the past year and one of those vacated buildings will be where Big Bun moves in.

Located on the very busy corner of Chinden and Glenwood (right across from the fairground) is an empty Carl's Jr that will, very soon, be a Big Bun! Ownership says to expect a grand opening before the end of the year! How exciting!
