Boise Manhunt Suspects Now in Custody, Found in Twin Falls

News has broken that the two wanted suspects in a manhunt, stemming from the escape of an Idaho prisoner from St. Al's in Boise, are in custody.

Three terrifying terms were heavily shared across the State of Idaho over the last 24-hours or so: armed, dangerous, and wanted. A story that we would only be used to seeing in a movie or crime drama series unfolded in front of Boise's own St. Al's hospital where an armed gunman broke an inmate out of custody and sped off.

A 'Blue Alert' was issued--and a manhunt was initiated. Boise Police asked the entire state and all partner authorities to assist in the search.

Just over 24-hours later, a press conference was called and officials from the Idaho State Police Department, the Boise Police Department, and Idaho Department of Corrections updated the public that the two armed and dangerous men--both Meade (the escaped prisoner) and his accomplice, were in custody.

Details at this point are still vague--but we know that they were taken into custody in Twin Falls County and will be booked into jail there, first. A pursuit took place but no shots were fired in their arrest or chase.

The suspects were not driving the vehicle that they initial fled in.

Perhaps the most shocking part of the arrest was that two Idaho homicides, just discovered, seem to trace back to the two suspects--taking place in Nez Perce and Clearwater counties of North Idaho.

At this time, details on the homicides are few, however the official from the Idaho State Police did note that the prison shackles from the escapee were found at the scene of one of the homicides.
