It was just announced this week and it's shaping up to be a pretty awesome opportunity for any kids in the Treasure Valley looking to learn football from the best.

Over the years, Boise State has been home to several major names in football--for a school this size, there's even a number of names that went on to the NFL to make even larger names for themselves. Off of the top of my head, I instantly think of Kellen Moore, Doug Martin, Jay Ajayi, Demarcus Lawrence, and Orlando Scandrick.  Of course, one of the more recent stars to make their way into the NFL and instantly impact the league was Leighton Vander Esch, a pro bowl linebacker from Riggins, Idaho that was drafted 19th overall last year. Being a local himself, he's headed back to Idaho this summer--Boise, specifically, to help local football players develop their skills and leadership abilities.

The camp is a one-day event that just happens to be on the same day as Boise Music Festival, Saturday June 22nd. The camp is for kid ages 6-16 years old and registration costs range from $65 to $110. There are also scholarship opportunities for kids who may not be able to otherwise attend due to finances.
