Boom in Boise; Mysterious Explosion Shakes Downtown

A lot of crazy things happen in Boise all of the time and 99% of the time they're very positive. Like how Aaron Paul is hosting a movie premiere this week and the Egyptian Theatre! Boise loves all of the great surprises that happen but sometimes things aren't always perfect here.

As great of a place that Boise is to live bad things do happen on occasion and when it does happen then it definitely doesn't leave people feeling too overjoyed, rather more nervous and scared.

Just a couple of months ago people were shocked when they were driving past Krispy Kreme and they saw the inside full of flames. It was unexpected and honestly very scary. Luckily the amazing officials were on it and nobody ended up getting hurt.

Now there is a lot of mystery in Boise when a loud explosion was heard around near downtown. Sometimes you hear about random booms happening in the area but this seemed to have taken things to a whole other level.

The moment was literally described as an explosion and locals still are having questions about what happened. It happened right outside of downtown and some people ended up experiencing a lot of repercussions from it.  The person who originally posted about it said there was "a huge boom, the ground shook, the lights flickered and there was a white flash."

Whatever happened last night was certainly out of the ordinary. Others are saying that because of it they even lost power.

While nothing has been confirmed yet locals are suspecting that a transformer blew.
