Boise State Receives $1.5 Million To Replace Blue Turf
We all have that same dream. One day, you'll be wealthy enough to anonymously donate a huge chunk of your wealth to whatever entity you see fit. A homeless shelter. Non-profit organizations. $1.5 million dollars to help Boise State replace their blue turf.
You know, the simple things.
Wait, Boise State is replacing the blue turf? Are you serious right now?
Well, yes. But, also no.
Let us explain, if you would.
Recently, BSU received an anonymous donation of one and a half million dollars to go toward replacing the blue turf at Albertons Stadium in Boise. The good news is, you won't even notice the difference.
The blue turf will be replaced with a new blue turf, simply for maintenance reasons. Believe it or not, this is actually the sixth time the blue has been replaced. Most recently, she received a sexy new update back in 2019. Meaning, it's definitely time for a new blue turf.
Fans shouldn't notice much of a change in person or on-camera at BSU games, as the blue turf will be the same iconic shade it's always been. It's just, newer. Not bluer. Newer.

We're going to go ahead and assume that once the new blue turf is installed, not much will be changing for the Boise State shirtless section.
Is that name copyrighted? Are we going to get sued?
