Celebrate National Concert Day Today

Nothing beats the energy of a great concert.  I'm lucky enough, working for a radio station, to get to attend tons of concerts every year.  Given I've only ever worked in radio, since age 15 I've been able to attend a lot of shows.

Given today is National Concert Day, I was thinking back to MY favorite concert and despite having seen much larger acts, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on The Heist Tour takes the cake. It was 2012, right before Macklemore really took off as a major act.  The energy in the small Spokane Knitting Factory venue was unmatched to anything I've ever been around.

In honor of National Concert Day, you can get some pretty cheap tickets from Live Nation for shows right here in Boise, and beyond!  In fact, from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 2nd (tomorrow) until 10:00 p.m on Firday there are several shows with $20 ticket specials.
