Celebrate Veterans Day in the Treasure Valley
Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11th but the Treasure Valley is celebrating the men and women of the United States armed forces this weekend! Here's how you can show your gratitude for our veterans.

Veterans Day Parade
When: 9:30 AM, Saturday, November 7th
Where: Jefferson Street from 10th to 4th, Bannock Street to 10th Street in Downtown Boise

Military Appreciation Night
When: 7:15, Saturday, November 7th
Where: Century Link Arena
What: The Idaho Steelheads honor the men and women who have or are serving in the United States Military along with those who paid the ultimate price for their country. The team will also auction off the military themed jerseys worn during Friday and Saturday's game to benefit St. Luke's Rehabilitation services working to provide exercise and wellness programs for our vets.

Veterans Breakfast
When: 8 AM - Noon, Sunday, November 8th
Where: Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa
Cost: $5 general, $3 seniors, military and children 5-12

Boise National Veterans Day Run
When: 3:11 PM, Wednesday, November 11th
Where: 930 Veterans Memorial Pkwy, Boise, ID
What: A 11K, 5K or 1 mile run/walk to thank the men and women serving in the armed forces. Vets and active military can participate at a discounted rate. All finishers receive a goodie bag, commemorative pin and a finisher's medal or ribbon.
