Protestors at the homes of multiple members of the Central District Board of Health and those at the Central District Health offices were the reason that tonight's vote on potential health mandates was called.

The meeting, held virtually, didn't even last 15 minutes as Boise Mayor Lauren McLean and the Chief of Boise Police requested the meeting be stopped for safety concerns.

Ada County Commissioner Diana Lachiondo announced in the meeting that she would be going home because protestors were banging on her door where her 12-year-old son was alone.

We will update you on the next steps for Central District Health when they become available.
