As the Grove Plaza's opening nears, let us qualm your fears.

You can totes connect to their free wi-fi.

The plaza is currently owned by Capitol City Development Corporation. That same company is installing a wireless cloud system capable of connecting 1,500 devices to the internet all at the same time. Don't worry about the speed either. It'll be powered by a 1-gigabyte data service.

CCDC officials told BoiseDev.com they're excited to bring the service to the plaza:

Working lunches on the plaza are now even more productive with plenty of shade, seating and connectivity. Downtown students and workers can enjoy the Boise summer days while staying productive and connected to classes and projects.

Even better, the system may be expanded in the future to offer wi-fi service to the 8th Street corridor in addition to the Grove Plaza.
