You're meeting your friends for dinner and drinks then plan to go out afterwards. You've grabbed your smallest purse but are sure to plan for an overnight stay "just in case". Is this common?

There was a time when I would have a small bag in my car at all times that had makeup remover, a simple change of clothes, a toothbrush and a few other items that would make me look semi-presentable should I wake up and not be at home ifyouknowwhatimean.

My friends always teased me...until they needed the "just in case" bag. Yeah, it's a good idea now, isn't it?

We can all be adults, here, and agree that the "walk of shame" is probably one of our lowest points in life. Why on earth would you put yourself through that?

I feel it is my duty, as an organized pre-planner, to share the "just in case" bag with you. You know, just in case.

Things you'll need:

  • Makeup remover
  • Mascara and some bb cream (or similar)
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Dry shampoo
  • Comb or brush
  • Underwear
  • Scented lotion or subtle perfume
  • Deodorant
  • Advil
  • Flats

All of these things can be miniature and be packed neatly into a small purse. If need be, keep it in your car. Desperate times call for desperate measures so keeping one at work isn't a terrible idea. Depending on where you work, that is. Sneak in earlier than the rest of the office and give yourself a quick overhaul before everyone arrives at a reasonable hour.

This idea isn't crazy. Right?
