Want to watch the total solar eclipse, but you're on a budget?

We've got the DIY solution.

Thanks to our pals at KTVB, we've got the recipe to whip up an eclipse viewing box from stuff you have lying around the house. Scissors, a cardboard box, a soda pop can, and just a few other things and you're good to go.

While we can't confirm the effectiveness of this contraption, we can say with 100% certainty that it is a box with some stuff taped to it. That much we're sure of. As always, use extreme caution when viewing the total solar eclipse because it could do permanent damage to your eyeballs.
