What's up everyone! I'm Mijo the new guy at 1035 KISS FM. I want you to get to know me a little better so I'm going to give you a short list of some of my favorite things in life.

1. It sounds super cliché, but I am a huge lover of music. Growing up I would sing with my grandma all the time which led me to join a choir. I was in this group for 10 years and met some amazing people around the world. I was exposed to so many different styles of music. I have sung for two different pope's. I sang on Vatican Radio, I performed in 1000 year old churches in Italy and sang in front of a crowded house at the prestigious Cologne Philharmonic. But going back to music, I enjoy listening to country because it always hits a spot in the soul, I listen to chamber chorale music when I need to disappear in my mind, and I enjoy my Blink-182 when I want to rock out. But the two genres I love the most are Hip-Hop and R&B. There is nothing more relaxing to me than listening to some A Tribe Called Quest or some Boyz II Men. I am also a huge fan of remixes which leads me to this website page (right here) I found I hope you enjoy.

2. I am a huge fan of llamas. They are pretty cool looking, they are sturdy animals and they make some of the funniest faces. Boom!

3. Again this sounds cliché, but I love to smile. I don't like being angry or stressed, it really kills my vibe. If you go through my facebook or any of my social media you'll pretty much always see me smiling or relaxed. One of my favorite quotes is, "Stay humble because you are made of the earth, stay noble because you are made of stars." I try to live each day to the fullest and enjoy my time here on earth whether I have 5 minutes or 100 years. So next time you see me out and about, just smile and give me a high five. That's always awesome no matter what.

4. BURRITOS!!!!!!!!! Enough said. If you don't like burritos then you're dead to me. Just playing, you're only half dead to me.

5. I come from a large Hispanic family. So there is nothing I value more than family. Family is honestly one of the best things in life. Now it doesn't necessarily have to be a traditional family or one family. Through the values of my upbringing and the sense of being close to people, I have developed many families over my short life. I love my parents, brothers and extended family so much, but as I embark on this radio career, I have learned to love the family that is within the building I work in. And I know I am just getting started here in Boise, but the family of listeners that you guys are is capturing my heart. You guys and gals are pretty awesome.
