Dentists recommend getting your teeth cleaned every six months. Unless you're regularly setting these appointments it's easy to let this slip by. It's especially easy if you're having to worry about how you're going to pay for a dental cleaning. Luckily there's an option here in Boise to receive FREE dental cleanings.

Carrington College serves as a teaching clinic for ambitious students pursuing a career in dentistry. This means that students will be doing all of the work. An instructor and the clinic Dentist will sign off when they're done. "Think of it this way," Carrington College says, "It will be the most thorough cleaning you’ve probably ever had!"

Each appointment will include the following complimentary services:

  • Dental cleaning
  • Fluoride application
  • Home care instruction
  • Dental screening

Dental sealants and X-Rays with dental hygiene services are also available at the school's clinic.

The college says they just ask patients of one thing - their time. "Considering we are a teaching clinic, your appointment will take longer than what you would expect at a typical dentist’s office," according to Carrington College.

The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Appointment times may vary so the school requests interested patients to please contact the clinic for more information.

I always enjoy going to teaching clinics and salons to receive services. Not only are you helping students reach their career goals but you're also receiving services like facials, massages, hair, and even dental cleanings at a discounted rate compared to what these services would normally cost at a professional level.
