The State of Idaho and now the nation are feeling heavy hearts this week as investigators say they believe they have credible information on the long-standing Michael Vaughan case in Fruitland, Idaho. For multiple days now, both Fruitland Police and Idaho State Police departments have been digging in the backyard of a Fruitland, Idaho home where they believe remains may be found--police dogs have also consistently been on the site.

Earlier this year, we highlighted some of the key events of this missing child case, early on--which has now been ongoing for over a year.

Timeline: Missing Idaho Child Michael Vaughan

Since late July of 2021, 5-year-old Michael Vaughan has been missing from his home and family in Fruitland, Idaho. The heart-shattering story has made it's way into the homes of families nationwide and several police organizations along side thousands of volunteers continue to keep the search alive. News outlets are reporting this afternoon that authorities are now saying a search of the inside of the home may also be necessary--and this could continue for another week.

While law enforcement officers and investigators continue to search, one arrest has been made: a resident of the home, 35-year-old Sarah Wondra. The Fruitland woman was arrested for failing to report a death to the coroner. Bond for Wondra has been set at $500,000 and the judge has ordered a competency evaluation & mental health exam for her.

While searching for more information on Wondra, links to her TikTok appeared--and now, the internet is a little shocked.  While it's important to note that until proven guilty, Wondra is indeed innocent--her TikTok account, which is primarily composed of religious commentary, contains a video being filmed in front of a missing child poster--Michael Vaughan's.

It's a little eerie.

The highlighted video posted by suspect Sarah Wondra has nothing to do with the missing child, Michael Vaughn, but rather her health. The video is, however, embedded below:
