This week in theaters there’s something for just about everybody. From horror sequels, to video game adaptations, to even magician heist movies, there’s a wide array of diverse films hitting cinemas this week. Whether you want to take advantage of $5 movie Tuesday tonight, or are looking forward to planning your weekend flick, here are the latest movies to choose from:

Warcraft:

Based on the hugely popular video game series, this science-fiction blockbuster features big, burly orc warriors, knights in shining armor, and fighting elves. You probably know if this movie is for you or not.

Now You See Me 2:

A sequel to the 2013 surprise hit, the all-star cast is back reprising their roles as The Four Horsemen, a group of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their magic performances. The large ensemble cast includes Morgan Freeman, Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and Mark Ruffalo.

The Conjuring 2:

Another sequel, this one returning to the paranormal rumblings that made the first 2013 smash film such a success. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are back as Lorraine and Ed Warren, the real-life investigators of the Amityville case and James Wan is back directing this spooky horror sequel.

Maggie’s Plan:

In the tradition of New York, Woody Allen-esque romantic comedies, director Rebecca Miller is back, this time teaming with quirky indie darling Greta Gerwig, who plays a woman falling in love with a married man played by Ethan Hawke. Julianne Moore plays Hawke’s wife, sporting a convincing Russian accent. Those looking for light, quirky comedic farce will likely enjoy this film. It’s playing at The Flicks beginning on Friday.
