The crimes for which Chad Daybell will soon be in court to face and those of which his wife, Lori Vallow Daybell has been found guilty of are no laughing matter. The loss of two children and potentially even more people because of the couples radical doomsday beliefs are terrifying.

With the severity of these crimes in mind, there is no doubting that the entire world has been and will continue to watch the case unfold.

Just this year, Lori Vallow was tried in Boise, Idaho--in the heart of downtown at the Ada County Courthouse. No cameras were allowed in the courtroom but that did not stop the 'true crime' internet crowds from anxiously awaiting every little detail provided by reporters who were allowed in the room with only pens, pencils, paper, and voice recorders. The trial was the biggest thing happening on the globe so it felt online and especially here in Boise.

Now, Chad Daybell is preparing to be tried and brought before a jury. He faces charges for killing JJ and Tylee (Lori Vallow's children) as well as his ex-wife, Tammy Daybell.

The trial is expected to last 10-weeks and as of this afternoon, the Judge in Daybell's trial has ruled that the trial will be live-streamed for the world to watch.

When you look at the mania that surrounded similar cases, like Alex Murdaugh earlier this year, it's clear that people just can't get enough of true crime. It's unfortunate that this has to be the case--but it's reality.

The trial is scheduled to begin in April.
