Marijuana Dispensaries Inching Closer to Idaho
The sale and possession of marijuana is illegal in the state of Idaho, but that doesn't mean it stays far away.
There's a new marijuana store setting up shop in Washington, less than one hour from the Idaho border. It's currently being built in Whitman County, Washington.
Some say they believe the store is being set up so close to the border to target customers in Moscow, where again marijuana is still illegal.
Moscow Police Chief James Fry says citizens in Moscow have been caught with weed packaged and sold from Washington, but it's been minimal thus far.
