I think that it is fair to say that we have ALL had a car that we really loved and hated to see go. Everyone has a story about that "old faithful" that got them around and was so trusty. Well, when it comes to my car situation, I'm currently living that!

One thing that I have learned about Boise is that we love our Toyota 4Runners and our Subaru Outbacks. It seems that I see these vehicles ALL OVER the roads of the Treasure Valley. I speak that language, as I'm still cruising around in my Toyota 4Runner--my first car--that I've had since my days at Bishop Kelly High School. Now, as I'm writing this, I am sitting at home where I live alone with my cat...so I guess you could say this lovable 4Runner may well be my first love. As it reaches nearly 260,000 miles, however, it's starting to become time for me to realize that an upgrade might be in order. No matter how excited I get when I pull up to a stoplight next to an identical 1998 Toyota 4Runner (and to be honest, the other 4Runner is typically just as excited), I'm thinking I want to jump into something a little more stylish

Mikey here at 103.5 KISS FM is the biggest "car guy" that I've ever met--when I first met him about 10 years ago he was cruising around in a Hummer and I think he has had a million cars between then and the garage full of classics that he has now. Let's be clear--no matter what the conditions have been, in the last month alone my "old faithful" 4Runner has saved HIM in his classic cars, be it a battery jump or a gas refill, three or more times!!

I love Old Faithful...but it might just be time to treat myself to an upgrade.

Here's the problem: unlike Mikey, I'm NOT a car guy. I know what I like, I know what I need...I DON'T know where to start.

This is where I need your feedback-- who do you know in the car business that could be a huge help to me? Which car dealerships stand out and go above and beyond? WHERE should I take my money and time? Getting into a new vehicle is never easy and I don't want to regret the decision.

Post up and let me know!
