It was a news alert that I did NOT expect to see on a Saturday afternoon-- a stabbing at Wahooz Family Fun Zone? Unfortunately, this was the case and now local authorities are hoping that you can help identify the suspect(s).

Saturday evening, Meridian Police were called to Wahooz for a possible stabbing. Upon arrival to the scene, officers found a 14-year-old male had been stabbed by an unknown suspect-- also a male. Statements released by the police department indicate that the two males had some sort of altercation.

It did not take long for the Meridian Police Department to release photos of the car that drove off or of the individuals that police are looking for.  Images of the individuals are more clear and everyone in the community is hoping they can be identified.

The vehicle that drove off was a dark colored BMW with 2C license plates.

You can see all of the photos  in a post from the Nampa Police Department, below:

Anyone with information is encouraged to call Meridian Police at: 208-846-7300.

On a personal note, I want to reiterate that the events that happened at Wahooz over the weekend truly are unheard of for our area. Having grown up here in the Treasure Valley myself and having worked with the team at Wahooz Family Fun Zone for YEARS--I can tell you that few places put as much effort into family safety as the team at Wahooz. All of us at 103.5 KISS FM are shocked that this would happen and acknowledge that Wahooz remains a safe place for our community. We hope that these suspects are brought into custody.
