Nampa Named Top City For Trick-Or-Treating

If you were to ask me to name off the best cities in the country for trick or treating, I probably wouldn't know where to start. I would absolutely assume that it would need to be a big city, because I would assume more big houses that offered more full size candy bars.

Well, I was wrong. It turns out the best city for trick or treating in the country is not only right here in the Treasure Valley, but it's my HOMETOWN of Nampa, Idaho! According to SmartAsset, for the third year in a row, Nampa takes the #1 spot!

In order to reach these results, the following metrics were used:

• Population Density
• Percentage of residents under 15 years of age
• Home Values
• Property crime and violence rates
• Precipitation (rain never does trick or treating any good)
• Temperature

I was never much of a trick-or-treater as a kid, but the handful of years that I did go as a kid were always in Nampa with my cousins.  I recall growing up with awesome neighbors, safe environments, and some homes that gave away some realy great candy. It's pretty cool to see that my experiences, according to SafeAsset, reflect the entire city as accurate.
