New Pizza Spot Headed to Boise

When the overlord of all things Boise, Michael Deeds, wrote that MOD Pizza would be coming to Boise in The Idaho Statesman-- I could hardly contain my excitement.

While living in Spokane, Washington and studying at Gonzaga University, I became quite the fan of MOD Pizza. There was a location right downtown, not far from the radio station I was working at, at the time. This became a fun place to go with co-workers and served as a real fun place to hangout-- how often can you say that about a pizza spot?

MOD Pizza in Spokane always did a great job of having local beers on tap and their "make your own" options for both pizza and salad are great. If you've never experienced it before--I'm excited for you!

According to the Idaho Statesman, this location will be going in right next to Trader Joe's on Capitol Boulevard in downtown Boise. The not-so-fun news is: it won't be open for about another year.
