Every morning without thinking I turn off my alarm and walk to the shower. I need the hot water to help me wake up and start my day off on the right foot. Every morning I also have greasy looking hair from sleeping so that is another reason I start each morning with a shower but it sounds like showers at night might actually be more beneficial to you.

Although if you're like me and need a shower in the morning the professors who worked on this study all agree that you need to do what works best for you. A shower in the morning can give you a boost of alertness that you need to start your day. Even after hearing about this study I will still take my shower in the morning.
