One of The World’s Biggest Rockstars Has a Shocking Tie to Idaho

Idaho and celebrities. A decade ago, one might have laughed at these two words in the same sentence. These days, it's a very exciting and frankly new concept in the Gem State. Idahoans love to keep their state a "secret" but the paradox of it all seems to be that they just love seeing celebrities put us on the map when they enjoy what we have to offer.

From Mark Wahlberg to Dana White, Kylie Jenner to Bad Bunny, we've seen a lot of Hollywood stars visit lately. What we didn't know until this week, was that one of the biggest rockstars on the entire planet actually had some very, very humble beginnings right here in Idaho.

Did you know that Nikki Sixx grew up in Idaho for a short time? 

According to most biographies we can find online, it says that he was born and raised in San Jose, California with no mention of our precious Jerome, Idaho!

With a population of just over 12,000 people--Nikki Sixx is probably the most famous person to have Jerome, Idaho ties. We think that he should throw a concert there--talk about a homecoming!

All sarcasm aside, it's too cool to see him going back to his roots in a recent trip to Jerome, Idaho.
