The opening of the Pacific Northwest's best waterpark is making an announcement. Roaring Springs and Wahooz just made their Summer opening official.

I just spoke with Tiffany who runs their Marketing Operations and she said they are ready and excited for Summer 2020. Treasure Valley, Roaring Springs will be opening Saturday, May 30 at 11 a.m. 💦

I feel like heading into each Summer we wonder when the Boise River will be opening. It's like a game to put the opening date in your calendar. All that has changed because Roaring Springs continues to make million-dollar additions to the waterpark and make this attraction top-notch in the Northwest.

There is something special about this opening because we're all facing COVID-19 restrictions. The Roaring Spring management team has been given approval by the governor's Idaho Rebounds plan and is ready.

More importantly, Roaring Springs is one of the only aquatic facilities in the Treasure Valley with Ultraviolet Light on all our pools as an added layer of protection for our guests. We invested $350,000 in the spring of 2018 to install UV light on every drop of water that circulates through the waterpark. UV light works by disrupting the DNA or RNA of specific organisms, such as viruses, which in turn, kills or inactivates the virus completely.

There will be a limitation of 50% on the following rides:

  • Wave Pool
  • Endless River
  • Bearfoot Bay
  • Dining Areas

There will be hand sanitation areas throughout the park and checking station for temperatures for everyone entering Roaring Springs.
