Social Media on the First Day of School

I had a friend post a do's and don't's list on Facebook reminding anyone with kids to hold off on posting those first day of school photos until you do these things.

I'm totally that mom who tries to take the perfect Pinterest photo of my son while I stand behind my phone with blurry eyes wondering how this day got here so quickly. What we don't realize is who is looking at the photos of our kids.

• Be cautious when tagging your children's school
• Avoid photos of your child at the bust stop with the street sign
• Be careful of taking and posting group photos of kids without permission from the other parents
• Turn off your location apps so they don't auto populate (as in, know where you are)
