Have you seen #ForceForDaniel trending on Facebook or Twitter the last couple days? It's a cause that 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' stars Mark Hamill and John Boyega are supporting.

Daniel is actually Daniel Fleetwood, a self proclaimed Star Wars fan since age 8.  In July, doctors told Daniel that his spindle cell sarcoma was progressing quickly and that he only had two months to live before the connective tissue cancer would claim his life.  He's outlived their diagnosis but the way that he's feeling now, he doesn't think he'll make it to the December 18th premiere.

His dying wish is to see the movie, so a campaign has gone viral asking Walt Disney Studios to allow Daniel to see the movie early.  And he has the support of the actors who play Luke Skywalker, ex-storm trooper Finn and Chewbacca who retweeted this tweet in support of Daniel.

J.J. Abrams, the director of Star Wars, did grant a similar wish to a dying Star Trek fan when "Star Trek Into Darkness" came out in 2013.
