There are several events each year that really round out the "Boise lifestyle"--but few are as well known as the Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic.  Each year when summer begins to wind down and fall starts to kick in, the skies of Boise are blanketed in dozens of hot air balloons. For a week, the commute into Boise is unmatched!

While these balloons up over the city are an amazing look for all--one up close and personal event on Friday night is something that no Boise resident--new or old--can miss.

It's called 'Nite Glow' and it is when the city gathers at Ann Morrison Park to watch the hot air balloons inflate once the sun goes down. Obviously, the balloons don't take flight as this would be totally dangerous at night. On the grass of the park, however, the balloons are tied down and lit up.  The way that the flames light up the big bright designs of the balloons is like something out of a movie!

Wanting some great social media content to make your friends jealous? This is the event!
