This Is What Stage 2 Looks Like at Boise Towne Square This Weekend

Don't call it a comeback! We've been here for years 🔥I'm just bringing to light my inner Boise Music Festival throwback artist LL Cool J as the city comes back to life on Saturday.

What does this mean, "come back to life?" I guess it depends on who you ask but I'm thinking it takes on a different meaning for everyone. This Saturday the city will head into stage 2 and I'm thinking people are going to be ready to get out.

What is this going to look like? The weather looks like it's going to be a nice 75-80 degrees and sunny which opens the door for everything. You're going to see people on bikes, Idahoans at Quinns Pond, people walking around the fountains in the Village at Meridian and the Boise Towne Square Mall.

So, how is it going to look? I rolled out to the mall with my cohost Kat Fisher to see and prepare yourself because things are going to be different. The Mall has been open a few days but most of the stores will join this weekend.

You can expect to see signs, signs, and more SIGNS! My wife is staying with family right now to be safe so I can get out and do my job which puts me in the public. We just don't know right now but it feels good to know that COVID-19 is being taken seriously. We just don't know what is going to happen after things open.

If you asked me, "will things be safe?" I would say it feels comfortable. I'm not sure how I feel about sitting in a restaurant quite yet. I've heard that Amsterdam might be opening in Downtown Boise and I feel like It's important to go out and support the city. We've known Ted and his team since day one so I'll be there.

I took some photos to give you an idea of what the mall will look like this weekend. I noticed that the stairs are very socially distant. You can pass each other walking up or down. Each set of stairs is one way. I noticed Starbucks doesn't let you walk in but lets you walk up.
